Vote for ¡§My Favourite Video¡¨
The 2008 Hong Kong and Taiwan ¡§My Video¡¨ Competition co-organised by the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Society and the Taiwan Foundation Against Copyright Theft has drawn over 200 entries from students and the general public in Taiwan and Hong Kong. A big ¡§THANK YOU¡¨ to all participants from the organisers! After a vigorous round of selection, 10 best video clips have finally been shortlisted for each of the Secondary Students, Tertiary Students and Open Categories.
The video clips shorlisted have been uploaded to this website and are now open to voting by members of the public of Taiwan and Hong Kong. This Vote for ¡§My Favourite Video¡¨ aims to promote public awareness of intellectual property rights in Taiwan and Hong Kong and encourage wider public participation in the Competition. Residents of Taiwan and Hong Kong may choose their favourite video clips on this website and cast their votes by email. Each voter may cast one vote in each category, i.e. the Secondary Students, Tertiary Students and Open Categories.The entrant receiving the highest number of votes in each of the three categories will be the winner of the Online Popularity Award and will receive HK$1,000 worth of electronic products.
Three voters who vote for the winners of the Online Popularity Awards (one from each of the Secondary Students, Tertiary Students and Open Categories) will each receive the Discerning Eye Award and HK$1,000 worth of electronic products.If more than three voters are eligible for the Discerning Eye Award, lots will be drawn to decide the winners. The winners list will be announced in September 2008 on this website and the winners will also be notified individually by phone.(Note: The results of the Vote for ¡§My Favourite Video¡¨ will in no way prejudice the joint decisions of the adjudicators from Taiwan and Hong Kong on the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Meritorious Prizes.).
